ALCESTA EVES.At five o’clock Friday evening at lioine on Main street occurred the death of S. Alcesta Eves, widow of W. Webster Eves, and one of the town’s most estimable women. She had been suffering with typhoid fever for the past four weeks, as well as was her son Justin Earl Sands. Besides this son she is survived by two other sons and daughter. They are George E. Sands, Esq., of Williamsport, Dr. James P. Sands, of Trenton, N. J., and Mary E. Sands, a teacher in our schools. Mrs. was a daugeter of the ;iate ^Benjamin K. Eves and was born June 21, 1855. She first married J. P. Sands, who died some 25 years ago, and several years later married W. Webster Eves, who died a fewr years ago.Funetal services were held in the Friends’ Meeting-house at two o’clock Monday afternoon. Tributes were paid by Mrs. Charles Eves and Mrs Jos. W. Eves. The pall bearers wrere C. M. Eves, Myron Eves, J. Stanley Eves, Charles Eves, Edward R. Eves and P. L. Eves.JUSTIN EARL SANDS.About three o’clock Tuesday morning J.
