Lives Only a Short Time AfterOperation.Williaming at his. homo in Berkeley Springs,following an operation. Severalweeks ago Mr. Kearns had an operat ion performed on his nose at ftCumberland hospital. On his \vay*hecontracted a deep cold and blood poison developed, and he survived onlyas connectedus an expert machinist, and made atour of the world. Upon his returnhome he became associated with asand company at Berkeley Bpringsand was working as a machinist whentaken ill. He was 28 years old.The deceased is survived by hiswi d o wMr. and Mrs. J. WKearns, and 'two brothers and twosisters.
