Hurley residerts were shocked this week to hear of the death of James Campbell, which occurred Tuesday evening at ShakoDee Minn. Mr. Campbell went to Shakouee Monday morning to take treatment at the baths there and the following evening passed away. James Campbell was one of the pioneers of Hurley and resided here formany years. For a number of years•he conducted the Marble Hall saloon and a few years ago moved to Iron-wood and took possession of a similar establishment on the corner of Ayer and Suffolk street3 opposite the deuut.
