Swain, of Roland Man., who is visiting friends and relatives in this section is at present on the sick list Still we hope for her speedy recoveryMr. and Mrs. R. Suggitt af this place are suffering from a severeattack of la grippe.We are pleased to learn that Mrs. Wir. Lane who- has been sufferingfrorn rheumatism for some months is improving. We hope soon to s£e her resume her wonted p.ace in the church and neighborhood.Mrs. Mullen, of Sask, formerly Miss Jordan, of Janctville, is renewing old acquaintances. She intends to start for the great North West in a few days.What makes Mr. A. F. Swain all smites these days? A little bs.bie daughter.While returning home from church Sunday evening some of our citizens were delighted with the display of a number of meteors floating across the sky from north west to south east, followed by g lonely ball of fire much resembling a star. This was the most qrilliant display of meteors ever witnessed from this pcint.
