OBITUARY.Mr*. Len» B. Winter.Mr». Lena B. Winter, wife of Edward C. Winter, of 400 Westfield avenue, passed away at her home on Friday afternoon last at 5.SO o'clock. Mrs. Winter was taken 111. on Sunday with grip, but later In the week pneumonia developed which resulted In. ter death. She was the daughter of Watson Wlldman and the late Alice Wlldman, of Danbury, Conn., And is survived by ner father, her husband, three children, Karl, aged IS; AUce, aged 11; Jessie, aged 8; one brother, Fred Wlldman, of Danbury, oCnn., and two slaters, Mrs, Jennie Skiff, of Yonkers, N. Y„ and Mrs. Eva Luck, of Arlington, N, J. She was a member of the Weetfield Baptist church, and Pride of Our Flag Council, Daughters of Liberty, which order attended the, funeral service In a body, and held impress!va service at the grave.The funeral service was held from her late home on Monday afternoon, at 1:80 o'clock, Rev. C. J. Greenwood officiating, and ’••'as largely attended by relative* and friends. There were a number of handsome floral tributes, among them a pillow Inscribed “Mother,; one, ‘'Bitten,** “D. of L”, and one from Bote Co. No. 1; one from Westfield Fire Department, and one from the Exempt Fireman. The pall bearers wore Frank Wella and William Howarth, of the D. of L., and P. C. Decker, Grover Traynor, John Utsinger and John Goltra, of the Fire Department, of which Mr. Winter laa member.Interment was made in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery.fc
