CORONER FILES VERDICTStates the Cause of Death in Vandalia Wreck Shown by theIInvestigation.Three verdicts were filed by the coroner today, tlie cases being: the Vandalia wreck, the Wallace poisoning case, and (he suicide of Charles Willis. In the Vandalia wreck case the last of the testimony was taken at Effingham Thursday, when the statements of Freight engineer ( rise and Conductor Brav were obtained. Conductor Bray• rsaid that he had taken engine No. 1(58 for No. 1 (if) oi* the switch at Maxville.The verdict will place the blame for the accident on the passenger crew, but no stress will be put on the fact of their responsibility as the mistake seemed to be one whielr was natural, and to a great extent excusable. In the case of Wallace who ate the wild parsnip, the verdict stated that death was caused by vegetable poisoning. Charles Willis is adjudged to have taken carbolic acid with suicidal intent.
