—According to the Griffin News, Mr. W- Z Gardner says sheep raising can be made more profitable in Georgia than almost any other avocation. He says be has tried it on a small scale for the last few years, and the following is some of his experience. He has on his farm ten ewes, which have brought him fourteen lambs this season. He has one ewe, three years old, that has brought six iambs. He says the increase is surprising, and that, from a few ewes well taken care of, a man can soon raise a big flock, and he says the expense of raising sheep is comparatively small, if any one will only takthe trouble tlt;o have a few grass patches and houses for them in winter.
