Ruhueii*.—On Saturday the 29th ult., Mr. Jacob Essie, was attacked about six miles from i lork, on the road leading1 to this place, and ’ s robbed of £70, by a raullatto man, named John j Tutt—who was arrested near Beudersville, in tills County, on the Tuesday evening- following-, and on the. next day taken to York, to await his trial. He had been confined in the jail in this place on a charge of horse-stealing-, and wasdis-! charged but a few days previous to tlie commission of the robbery. We have been informed that some of the money found upon him was i-!— I r Em'ig, as that of which he had j been robbed.
