GOP Ladies Install OfficersMrs. Phyllis Schlafly, president of the Illinois Federation of Republican Women, gave the main address at the installation of the Troy Republican Women’s Club, Monday evening at the Troy Security Bank lounge.Mrs. Schlafly spoke of the importance of women In the Republican party. Mrs. Schlafly, who Is a candidate for delegate to the national GOP convention, also spoke on why and how the Republican party is to win the 1964 election and the many Issues that will be Involved.Mrs. Vernice Wortman, president of the Madison County Federation of Republican Women, installed the officers ana presented each with a pin.Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Hilda Ottwein, Jigs. Eraa Smith and Miss Ema Em-geling.
