This re-' minded them of the flying saucer reports, occurring almost daily in their news-i paper.Interviewed last night, . Messrs Albert C. Baker and . B. C. Bollard, who live at . the western end of Dobie , street, said they were sure . the object was not an even-I ing star.Mr. Baker said his atten-: tion was drawn to the object ' high in the sky by Mr. Bollard, who with several residents had been watching it for * some time. 1SILVERY SHEEN ^Mr. Baker said the object, ( which had a silvery sheen of ( great brightness, was travel- ( ling steadily westward at a high altitude well above a covering of broken cloud.He first saw the phenomenon about 6 p.m. and watched it out of sight. He had never previously seen anything like it.Mr. Bollard said the ob- \ ject was high in the sky. It must have been of great size.It travelled westward steadily with no apparent up or down movement. The object remained in sight for about 20 minutes. j
