members.DIES AT GARYCROWN POINT, Ind., Feb. 13.—A. Byron Chipman, former member of the Crown Point City council, who moved to Gary a year ago, died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home, 3750 Jefferson street. He had been ill only a few days r with uremic poisoning., Mr. Chipman, who was 62 year® old, served 8 years on the Croytrn Point council. Surviving are his wife, a son, Judge Albert Chipman of Plymouth, who was chosen reV recently to try the old Carr 'land case, and a daughter, Mrs* Robeit Ingalls, wife of a Gary attorney.The body has been brought to tho Hinton undertaking parlors here andthe funeral will be held at 2• . • % • • - %Saturday afternoox* byterian church* ' •• •-
