Accident With a Firearm.—A painful accident occurred to Wilfred Charsley, aged 13, son of Mr. H. J. Charsley, of Nam pup, on Saturday afternoon, necessitating his removal to the Katanning Public Hospital. It appears the boy was out shooting and accidentally let fall the pea rifle he was carrying, the shock discharging the rifle. The bullet penetrated his arm just above the elbow, followed bis arm upwards, finally embedding itself in his shoulder. On receipt of a telephone message from Nyabing Mr. W. Mullenger hurried out in hiB car and brought the boy into the hospital, where he was placed under the care of Dr. Pope, and i9 progressing very favorably.
