A new phase in the mystery sur rounding the finding of a human foot some few days ago by a dog has now presented itself. Some short time ago a wrecking train arrived in the C.P.R. yards from the east. One 921 the men happened to be passing a car in which had been placed part of the wreckage. Having occasion to enter the car, he noticed a rubber boot ty ing in a corner with a piece of trouser projecting. He gave it a kick and says he noticed that it contained something hard. Being in a hurry at the time, he did not stop to look and had completely forgotten the 2ยข fair until reminded again by reading in these columns of the find made by the dog. It is now thought by some that the foot could have been carried from the yards by a dog. Whether this is really the case or not, nothing further has happened to verify the report. The theory held by some of a possible tragedy still pre vails, and it will likely continue so until some conclusive evidence is 1 fered as to the origin of the ghast's discovery.
