Mrs. Andrew Hatfield was called to the door of her home last night about II o’clock by an unknown man and shot down.The woman’s husband is a brakeman on an L. N. train,' and was away from home at the tune on his run. She heard some one call and as slie went to the door her name was spoken. She responded and the shot was tired. She can not possibly recover.
