Called a Woman tojlhe Door and Shott—- ■ I ^er Down. JBH(’orl)ii), Ky.,1 Feb. 0—One of the most shockingjorimes thathas ever occurred in this placewas committed last night. Mrs.Andrew Hatfield was called to the door of her home last nightabout II o’clock by an unknownman and shot down.The woman’s husband is a brakeman on an L N. train, and was away from home at the time on his run. She heard some one call and as she went to the door her name was spoken. She responded and the shot was tired. She can not possibly recover.
