A short time after their arrival they settled on a farm east of Komarno in Pleasant |‘ |Home district which his father had bought from John \Pick. Like so many young ‘people in his time, he left \ Peco ‘sect sri tas oval |employment near Headingly | Jas a hired hand on a farm. || Mrs. Pudruchay who immi grated to Canada also in 1900!1 found work in Headingly and | that’s how and where the two met. 1 | On January 22, 1903, Mr. ‘and Mrs. Pidruchny were married in Pleasant Home at¢ ‘his father’s home. Rev. Ad 1 amko Leshyshyn performed a farm together with his father and have lived there; ever since. 1 ‘The couple has raised a! fine family of eight sons, '1 John, Detroit, Michigan, 1 USA; William,” Waldlake, 1 Detroit, Michigan, Tony, ‘Winnipeg Walter and Frank, Romarno, there are 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Pidruchny who will be 19 years old on April 10 en joys reading and watching tlevision. He has one broth e Fred in Matlock, Mrs. Pidruchny who will be? 30 years young on the 18th of May also loves to read and watch the odd programs on television. She has one sis ter, Mrs. Maria Magosh, Ed monton, Alta; two step-sis ters, Mrs. Mary Skwarek and Mrs. Pauline Rogosky, both of Winnipeg Beach, and a brother, Mike Bilan, Peterf eld. Both Mr. and Mrs. Pidruch ny enjoy fairly good health and reside on a farm with their son Frank and daugh ter-in-law Rose, ‘or sincere congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pidruchny’ on this happy occasion and may we join their many friends and relatives in Rom amo and surrounding dist ers in wishing them many years of continued good health and happiness.
