Wynn and his deputies last Thursday afternoon.The whiskey had been hid out and was at least one-fourth of a mile from any known place.Finding of the whiskey In the swamp followed a raid at the Durant place now allegedly run by James McBride (known as the Stanley Woodall place) which netted nothing. A thorough search of the premises yielded nothing.Village Inn Sheriff Wynn found six pints of whiskey near the Village Inn near Lexington last Tuesday afternoon. February 3rd. The whiskey was off the Village Inn property line.At the time of the latter raid two negroes were arrested at the Village Inn for public drunkenness. They pled guilty in Judge W. D.
