Little busines has been discharged in circuit court since our last issue. There hsa been little before the court. The following are the cases disposed of: State vs Aaron J. Lewis, grand lar ceny; plea of guilty and sentenced to Jeffersonville reformatory from 1 to 14 years, fined $1 and disfranchised for five years. State vs Douglas Simpson, grand lar ceny; trial by jury and found guilty; sentenced to Jeffersonville reformatory from 1 to 14 years, fined $1 and dis franchised for five years State vs Roy Hooper and Andrew J. Hooper, grand larceny; trial by jury and finding of guilty. Roy Hopper was paroled on account of his youth and the case of Andrew J. Hopper taken under advisement by the court. Satae vs James Richardson, rape; trial by jury and finding of not guilty. Mattie Miller vs Lewis Miller, di vorce trial by court and divorce gran ted plaintiff with $500 alimony and $25 attorney fees; the custody of the child given to Martin and Mary Miller, it’s grandparents. Mariah Miller vs Aaron M. Miller, partition; dismissed on account of the death of defendant.
