Obituary of Mrs W. SchoonoverRuth E. Thompson, daughter of John A. andElizibeth C. Thompson, was born in Jackson township, Guthrie County, April 17, 1857. She lived in Guthrie County until about 1885 where she removed to Nebraska City, where she lived until five years ago, where she moved to Omaha.In iater years she was afflicted with j a lingerinb desease. She came during the latter part of December to visit relatives and friends in Guthrie County, having been here only a week or two where her health began to decline very rapidly. February 4 1914 at Bayard in the home of her sister, Mrs. D. G. Games she passed quietly away at the age of 57 years 9 months and 15 days..November 8, 1876, she was united in marriage with William Schoonover To this union were born four sons and one daughter; Ora A., Onie E., John A., Wilbert N , and Lydia Caroline, all of whom with there father were present when she passed away.She united with the M. E. Church j about twenty years ago and contin-' i uea a faithful member until her death ' Living in the city she was always found ready to offer assistance to those whom she found needing. She was kind and loving wife and mother always making the home happy with her cheerful disposition.Husband, four sons, one daughter, j two grand children, one sister, three j brothers and a host of friends are left to mourn her loss. lt;
