We bear that the enow, at Evanston, is three feet deep, and it is with much difficulty the road is kept open from here to that point, but the mail arrives in pretty good lime, considering the difficulties or the road.The Co-op. store here, has* finished a very respectable building, which is well stocked with goods; and 1 understand the concern, financially, is in a healthy condition. The first ward has finished a very fine school hou*e. School will commence on the£4th inst . taintht by one of our Utah boys, Mr. Elijah Pomeroy. (I hope it will not hurt Gov. Emory,) but vre cannot help it if it dors. Mr Pomeroy was born and raised in Utah, and is a good scholar; he is one out of hundreds that we know of. with like advantages, Uov.
