Horrid Affair,In our pap^r of Iasi week, we bri^fi alluded to the supposed murder of Mrs Mary Susan Turhy, wife of Preston S Turley, residing near the Fork* of Co* river, in this county. Since then, cir cum*lances have been divulged whicl tender it almost certain that she wa murdered, and that the murderer was he own hu'-band. who is now in jail in thi place. She was first missed on Thu red a i morning, and currency was given to a re port that she h.*d drowned herself; thii was the more readily believed by many as it whs well known by all acquninief with the panics, that they bad. for year* lived unhappily together, in coosrquenclt; of Turley's cohabiting with a nuturiuui female in that neighborhood; thus it wm naturally supposed that she might havlt; mads way w i»h herself ; and Turley toll such a pUut-ible chain of circumstance* that at first, suspicion of foul play re*u?c in the breasts of but fe w.
