Vincent Erney SrSANDUSKY — Vincent Peter Erney Sr., 95, formerly of 215 E. Shoreline Drive, Sandusky, died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10,1999, at Firelands Community Hospital,Sandusky, after a brief illness.He was born July 22, 1903, in Sandusky, retired from Sandusky Baking Co. in 1965, and had worked for the H S Baking Co. He was a member of St.Mary’s Catholic Church, Sandusky.He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Erney) Ruff and Carolyn (Erney) Shafer, both of Sandusky; one son, Vincent Erney Jr. of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice (McGory) Erney; his second wife, Rose (Mears) Erney; two sons, Eugene Erney in 1938 and James Erney in 1931; his parents, Benjamin and Caroline (Waldeisen) Erney; one brother, Rol-land Erney; two sisters, Arlene Erney and Sister Mary Christine (Selma) Erney; and one great-grandson.Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky, with the Rev. Dennis Walsh officiating.Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s School Endowment Fund; or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
