Sandra vawen and avid wa vobson are valedictorian and salutatorian of the Fergus Falls high school senior class, Russell Washiburn, coordinator, announc ed today. They are the top students in a class of 234, largest class in the history of Fergus Falls schools. The site was rivaled only in 1961 when there were 14 gradu ates. In 1962 there were 187 graduates. The class of 124 girls and 10 boys is evenly divided in the top. 10 per cent. Twelve boys and twelve girls are in the group. Miss Fabian is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fabian at Western township. She attended rural schools in Western through the eighth grade. High school activities include speech, pep club, charaliers, diary, annual staff, library lab, Junior Red Cross and SOTA. Jacobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Selmer Jacobson, transferred as a junior to Fergus Falls from Battle Lake. He is an editor on the annual staff and a member of FPA. David's brother Seldon was the first student to enroll in the Fergus Falls Junior College. He now is a senior at Moorhead State College.
