Y.—Tom Thom- j as, 36, a discharged paratrooper, , dreamed that his jumpmaster gave , the command to “jump!”Asleep, he jumped from his second-floor bedroom window, plunging 60 feet into a narrow closed alleyway.Unhurt, but clad only in summer pajamas, Thomas yelled into the near-zero night until his landlady threw down some blankets, pending his rescue.Firemen worked 45 minutes to get him out. Then, over a cup of steaming coffee, the cx-soldier said:“I could swear I heard the sergeant yell ‘jump.’ ”
