The story of a house built upon rocks; of success achieved through business sincerity and integrity that have safeguarded and protected the motoring public.%0n January the first, 1920, Ralph Ilay opened his doors for the first time at 205 Cleveland-av SW, as distributor of the Jordan and Hupmobiie. He had no sales force other than himself, but he kndw he was offering honest merchandise and believed with Elbert Hubbard that if a man wrote a better book, preached a better sermon or built a better mouse trap than his neighbor, though lie built his home in the woods, the world would make a beaten path to his door. With this thought in mind he set about to acquaint the public with the merits of his cars and his business policy. As this knowledge spread the business grew, and month by month the personnel of the organization was enlarged to care for the increased business, until today it numbers fifteen.During this time the Jordan and Hupmobiie maintained their lead in their respective price classes' and today, as three years ago, they afford the public the maximum in motoring car values. It is worth something to know that the car you buy and the organization you deal with were here yesterday, are here today and will be here tomorrow.
