The Masquerade.The masquerade hall given, by the Holy Name Society in the K. of P. hall last Thursday evening was a grand success in every particular. There were SO enmasque and about 150 spectators. The characters were good and created no end of amusement. The spectators were each one given one vote andjthe prize was awarded to Dave Breen who had 17 votes. lie represented George 'Washington andwas just as stately in appearancas that man ever darul be. Miss Xell Dillon who represented Dutch Cleanser won secondhonors and was a credit to the company she represented. If there is anv one in town who never has used Dutch Cleanser thcv will from now on. Elmer Gibbs eatne 3rd. Sociability and good cheer prevailed the entire evening biP the best part of the affair was the $55.41 which was clear profit after all the other expenses were paid.
