But He Did Not Like to Have His Wife Dash It in His Face. JOHN M. FLORA SUES on GS FOR DIVORCE IN DAKOTA Makes Other Serious Charges. Will No Doubt Wed the Clingenpeel Woman. John M. Flora, ex trustee of Monroe township, who eloped with Mrs. Rebecca Clingenpeel and went to Canada over a year ago and later located at Pierre, S. C. seems to think that divorce pro ceedings are popular and has filed a suit asking legal separation and “other proper relief” from his wife, Harriett A. Flora, east of Bring horset That a marriage is contemplat ed with the Clingenpeel woman is now almost a certainty as he also filed suit for divorce in the same court last week. It is said that there wil be no objections made to either of the divorce cases. According to the complaint of Flora he is a much abused man. Hes charges cruel and inhuman treatment and visa and abusive language ever since 1895 and says he has been ordered to leave the house, being refused entrance thereto, forcing him to remain out during the night. He says she threw a cup of coffee at him and that in the presence of company, accused him of intimacy with a neighbor’s wife; that his wife ques tioned his fidelity and made charges against him derogatory to his good character; that defend ant’s entire course of conduct toward him for a long period has been uniformly violent and abus ive, by which he has suffered men tally and physically and it has be come impossible and unsafe for him to live with defendant as man and wife.
