Theft Figures Held BLUEFIELD (AP) — Two persons here were arrested Monday night in connection with the Jan. 5 robbery of $300,900 in crisp $100-dollar bills from the home of C. A. Clyborne. Federal authorities, state and local police took part in the arrest of Dwight Perdue, $4, and Betty Powell, 47, both of Bluefield. They were charged with receiving stolen goods in connection with the robbery. Police said they confiscated no money when making the arrest at 6 p.m. but said the arrest stemmed from “reliable information.’”
