Mid-Winter State Conference Held In Anniston Feb. 5-6rThe mid-winter state conference oi the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Indies' Auxiliary, was held at Anniston on February 5 and 6th. On Saturday a joint meeting of the V. F. W. and Ladies’ Auxiliary was conducted, which was followed by a banquet and l«ter a dance. „s *The business session was held on Sunday for the V. F. W., with the following principal speakers: Li. Gov. Inzer, Claude Lewis of New York, and Gen. Bradley of Ft Ben-ning, Ga.Toe Ladies' Auxiliary held their School of Instructions on Sunday with past national president Imo~ gene Shaw of Florida, as instructor.Those attending from Cullman were: Lawrence Duffey, T. D. Mc-Minn, Ur- Paddock, David Mattingly, O. 2L Brown, -J. K. Gorham, BzEie Fuller, Bulah Paddock, Mar-3 one Brown and Opal Gorham.
