Achille “Butch” Lenei of Broderick, who a few years ago became en tangled in a series of difficulties ove his refusal to stay out of the liquor business, today finds himself in new difficulties which might result in his reportation to Italy. In 1912 Lenei served two years in San Quentin for stealing a suit of robes. Later he visited his Italy. On his return, Lenes found that ex-convicts are not permitted to enter the United States and since then a battle has raged. Lene has asked Governor James Rolph to issue a pardon for him.
