She was with her husband when the holdup took place. Because of the young woman’s serious condition, she was not questioned as to the identity of her visitor.Riley apparently had timed his visit well, for he found Mrs. Riley alone. He could not have been there more than two or three minutes, however, as Mrs. Riley was left alone for only a very brief period. Dana, principal of the state normal school here, died at 5:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness. She was horn here 65 years ago and spent her entire life in Fredonia. Prior to her marriage Mrs. Dana taught in the normal school. She was a daughter of the late Willard McKinstry, founder of the Fredonia Censor, and sister of the late Louis McKinstry, many years its editor, who died a few years ago.
