That this Council withdraw the by-law voted on by I the rate payers of this Municipality, grant- v ing a bonus of 825,(KX) in aid of the Toronto q Nipisaing Railway.—Carried. An order j was granted in favor of the Trustees of S. , Section No. 2, Digby, for the sum of $5 05 * non-resident taxes for 1869. The Collectorlowing sums charg-chargc against lot tt No. 19, con. 3rd Digby ; and f6 86, charg- blt; ed against lot No. 31, con, 3rd Digby. Pat- b rick Garvy was allowed $3 abatement on his Arrears of taxes, provided he perform three ti days statute labor in the year 1870 in lieu u thereof.
