100 AHS students attend Honor Banquet, Feb; 16One hundred Albia High School students will he attending the annual Honor Banquet, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the First Christian Church basement.Sponsored by the First Christian Church, the banquet was started in 1954 It is annually held to honor students for their outstanding scholastic achievements.Students eligible to attend are sophomores, juniors and seniorswho have maintained a B average throughout high school Parents of the eligible students are also invited to purchase banquet ticketsDr. Laurence Christian Smith, president oi Wcslmar College will be the guesl speaker. The invocation and benediction, traditionally given by the two seniors with the highest scholastic records, will bo given by Linda Kelley and Vicki Cameron, respectively.
