Movingiation■ an-r theme.-*thisPfl-’anks,rap* able works' la-ques-prorn-f *t6'Homer Hardy, foreman at the Perry Gas Works plant, who has been tii a critical condition at his home, 2115 Fifth street for about a week, died this morning about eleven o’clock.Mr. Hardy was taken sick about ten days ago with an attack of the influenza, from which -pneumonia soon developed. His condition was serious from the start and for several days the end has been expected almost hourly. The fact that his wife and three children were all sick with the Flu tended to cause him worry and hinder his own recovery. They are reported slightly Improved this afternoon.Mr. Hardy came here from Sibley, Iowa, seventeen months ago and took a position with the gas company. By his employers and fellow workmen he was known as a steaa. Industfious man and was well liked and much esteemed. Friends have done everything possible for his relief since his illness but without avail. He is a brother of Mrs. B. M.. DeGrush of this city.
