Farmer's Daughter will Carry the Gospel to Mountaineers on Horseback. CONNELLSVILLE, Feb. 8.—Through the fastnesses of Saltlick and other townships of the Laurel Hill Mountains Miss Cora Prinkey will ride next year as missionary of the United Brethren church. Like the pioneer circuit riders who first brought the gospel to the western slope of the Alleghanies, she will hold open-air meetings and will preach from the steps of the country stores, from stumps in the forest, and in the crude little churches that dot the mountain regions. For this purpose a license has been issued to her by the author ities of the United Brethren church, which for many years has had a strong following in that section of the moun tains. Miss Prinkey is the daughter of John H. Prinkey, a well-known farmer of Mill Run. At first she wished to be a school teacher, but later her thoughts turned to religion, and she announced her determination too become a moun tain missionary. Next time if you want to be guaran teed ‘‘good bread” insist on having the celebrated ‘‘Cornerstone” flour. Cook Beerits, distributors. 21
