Mr. Renter Rogers Dies At His Home Near Here Tuesday Morning—Mr. Remer- Rogers, prominent farmer of the Sand Hill community of Brooks county, died at his home Tuesday morning following a few days illness with pneumonia.Mr. Rogers was about fifty years of age, and is survived by his wife and eight children, three sons and five daughters; also his mother, Mrs. R. M. Rogers; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Parrish, of Thomasville; four brothers, Mr. J. E. Rogers, of Sanford, Fla., and Messrs. J. W., Lacy a^d Lonnie Rogers of Pa-vo.Funeral services were held at Bethel church, eight miles east of Pavo^ Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Mosley, Methodist pastor of Morven, ^nd Eld. Key, of the Primitive Baptist church.Mr. Rogers was a devoted member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist church, a quiet, unassuming man who was held in the deepest respect by all who knew him, as well as loved and honored by his family and loved ones.
