Catholics To Extend Work To Southeast Section—Direc tors Named A settlement house in the south east section of Canton will be estab lished by the Catholic community league in the near future, accord ing to action taken at thee annual meeting of the league Tuesday eve ning. The scope of the work of the league has increased more than three hundred percent in the last year, acording to the report given by Miss Catherine Brennick, secre tary of the league. It is to take care of the great amount of work in the southeast section that the settlement house will be established. A defin ite location has not been secured. A board of directors composed of A. F E. Hockwalt, Mrs. W. G. Saxton, Miss Catherine Wolf, R. V. Staudt, Charles Welsch, Mrs. George A. Wil liams, B. T. Bonnet, Harry Nist, Al fred Bannigan, Frank Zink, BY. Marconi and Joseph Terran was named. The board will meet for or ganization and election of officers March 1.
