UNCLE SAM AND CHEROKEEBOUGHT BY CAPT. NUTTINGCapt. Ralph H. Nutting, who for several seasons has conducted an excursion business on the river from this city, Thursday purchased from Capt. L. E. Ellen wood the steamers Cnclo Sam and Cherokee and will in future use them in connection with his own boats, the Southland and Rambler, for excursions to the Tornoka river, the inlet and other points of interest. Capt. Nutting is an experienced boatman, who during the suinuier is engaged ou the Great Lakes. He is progressive and energetic and well fitted to handle the fleet of excursion boats he has ac-| tjuired here.CapL EUenwood, who has been engaged in the excursion business here for a number of years with great success, will hereafter devote Jiki whole attention to his ferry business between this city and the peninsula towns of Seabreeze and Daytona Beach, adding an evening i service to th; t already maintained.
