Special: Frank Bryson. 66. prominent Jo Daviess county citizen and resident of Elizabeth and vicinity throughout his life, passed away at his home a few miles east of this city In Woodbine township about 7 o'clock Mon day morningFrank Bryson, a son of Robert and Ann McCullough Bryson, was born in Elizabeth on February 13,1861, and spent his early life in thiscity On November 19, isS.*. he was united in marriage to Miss Mary McKenzie, also of this community To this union three children were born. Miss Florence Bryson at home. Donald K Bryson of Kent, and Mrs Dena Reed of Elizabeth, who with the widow, Mrs Mary Bryson, are left to mourn his departure. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Fannie Atchison and Miss Mary Bryson of ElizabethIn October, 1906, he was apj*oint-ed supervisor from Woodbine town ship upon the* resignation fo Joseph Brisk, which office in* retained until Vpril. 1930. and during this time he served as chairman of the board of supervisors for one term H*ยป also served for two years on the Jo Da vless counv hoard of r* view as well as acting as republican central committee man from Wood bin** township for a number of years. Mr Bryson was also one of the organizers of the Jo Daviess County Farm Bureau andkept closely |n touch with this work continually He served as sec retary of the county organization until the time of his deathFuneral services will be held fromthe country home to the Methodist Episcopal church in this city at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, the pastor. Rev. R N Joscelyn. being in charge of the services assisted by the Rev. John M. McKinley of Hanover.
