SUBJECT OF TAPER AS DOMESTIC SCIENCE CLUB MEETING HELD THIS AFTERNOON WITH MRS. WATSON CALBERT. Mrs. Watson Calbert, of West Me chanic street, Was the hostess this af ternoton for the members of the Do mestic Science Club, which and at her home at two-thirty o'clock for a reg ular session. Good cooks are not afraid of cold weather and many an swered the reall call by the secretary, Mrs. Calbert. The afternoon's program consisted of two papers read by members. The papers of this club are always well worth mentioning because of the la bor expend in their preparation The majority of the members are well versed in preparing papers. ‘The trust was read by Mrs. Jog7p Spraul, “A Sound Body and An Ef ecient Mind,” very appropriate to this day of crowded cities and great indus trie. Mrs. Wilbur Griffin read as paper upon “The Chemistry of Light,” which follows closely upon the ively of a pa per round at the last meeting. “The Chemistry of Wert’ Following the sending of the papers and the conclusion of the program, the president, Mrs. Janes Vandegrift, adjourned the meeting for the social hour. The hostess served a course of deHorous refreshments.
