Of the Odd Fellows’ Magnificent Building Placed With Appropri ate Ceremonies. A simple but impressive occasion was the laying of the corner stone of the new Odd Fellows building Tues day afternoon. The ceremony was witnessed by a goodly number of the members of the Fayette Lodge No. 311.C. O. F. and a few other per sons, D. W. Andre, chairman of the building committee, and Chap lain C. A. Rieman conducted the ceremonies. The following is the address of Mr. Andre: ‘ “In this box we have deposited a history of Fayette Lodge No. 31, a history of W. W. encampment,No. 33, and of Emerald Rt. 1, Lodge, No. 259, a copy of the Sovereign Grand Lodge of U. S. a copy of the Grand Lodge of Indiana, a copy of the Grand En campment of Indiana, the municipal affairs of the city of Connersville, Postoffice, political affairs of the U. S. and of State of Indiana and a copy of each paper printed in our city, Daily and Weekly,” After the divine blessing was in voked by Chaplain C. A. Rieman, Mr. Andre continued; _. “We now declare this corner-stone duly laid, and the building that te to use upon it, devoted to the princi ples and work of Odd Fellowship,” For want of space the history of [the Order building the beautiful block is not published this week.
