GEORGE E. ZWICKGeorge E. Zwick, 69, died at8:30 p.m. Monday following aseven month illness. His home was at 810 West C herry Street here. He had lived in C herokee since 1944, formerly having lived on a farm in Afton Township.Born April 7, 1899 in Cherokee C ounty, he was married to Ethel Peterson on May 3, 1922 at Mankato, Minn.He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and had been associated with f armland Industries of Kansas City, Mo., and also was a Public Relations Representative.Surviving are his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Mrs. Robert I.undell of Cherokee; three grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Bertha Stoner of Garden Grove, C alif., and a brother, I-red /wick of Spencer and numberous nieces and nephews also survive.Preceding him in death were his parents, three sisters and two brothers.Euneral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Dr. V. V. Schuldt is to officiate and burial will be in Afton Cemetery. Boothby Euneral Home is in charge of arrangements.
