N.i'hoba is not the only school fur-thi ring interest in science by such menus. Our Jt nior High here in Stow has recently held a ScienceCountdown of its own. The originalnumber of thirty-five participants was pared to seven after two elimination rounds. The seven finalists i who competed in the final rounds of ! the countdown” cn Tuesday of this week were: Nancy Farron, Doris Dudz'nski, John Grady. Gary Laur-n Richard Gangne, E han An-thruy, end James Flewelling. The winn;r vv's Doris Dudz nski. Judges were Mr. Richard Brigham and Mr. Ruym'ud Jenness of the Jr. Hgh teaching staff. Presentation of aprize to titie winner was made by E. Frederick Liakos, Principal of the Jr. High School. The series of quizzes has been conducted under the supervision of science teacher Mr. Marcel Gionet.
