BENNY GOODMANThe quality of successive recordings coming from this outfit have been just about the best on the market in recent weeks. Especially outstanding are recordings of 'Ye3, My Durling Daughter' and 'These Things You Left Me.' Anybody who hears these records must be convinced that the King is back where he belongs and is up there to stay.Few people know that when he was at the State Theatre recently he was being attended after each performance by a doctor. And, few people also know that his outfit which made such a creditable impression at that theatre has already strengthened itself by the re-acquisition of Dave Tough os its drummer. There is also a possibility that Goodman will also sign up Toots Mondello and Hymie Schcrtzcr again. The latter has been playing with the band in its recording sessions anyhow.
