Death’ Comes In Early Morning Today —Funeral at 2 O’clock Wednesday Afternoon, Mrs. Catherine Carney died at about 1 o'clock this morning at her home after an illness caused by a breaking down of the entire system through advanced age. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home and at 2 ° 30 o'clock, at St. Mary’s Catholic church. Rev. Father J. J. Bennett will conduct the funeral services, and in terment will be made in Calvary cemetery. Catherine Owens was born in Well fort, County Galway, Ireland, Jan. 8, 1840. She came to America inc the year 1868. She was married to Carney April 18, 1869. The children who survive to mourn her death are: Thomas Carney, Miss Mary Carney of Sterling, John Carney of Lincoln, Neb., and Min. Hathorite Enright of Ster- Mrs. gee Scanlan peaced on her in death.
