No, four beand is hereby fixed at f .Wewould farther recommend the adoption of the following resolution:Resolved, That the superintendents of the poor for the ensuing year are hereby directed to enter into written contracts with the several physicians to beappointed for-the year 1864, at the compensation fixed by this board, whleh contracts shall be ap-proTed by the chairman and filed with tho dork of this board.Your commit tea would further recommend that said physicians bo instructed to make quarterly reports to the superintendents of tho poor with reference to tho disease, residence, 3cc., of tho patients treated by them, and no order for salary shall bo issued to such physician unless the above is complied with, and in case of neglect of duty the contract with such physicians shall terminate and the superintendents. of poor shall have power to discharge such physidans by giving them nolle* in writing of their discharge, whereupon the supervisor or super-viaora.of the respective district where such vacanoy occurs, phall recommend a suitable person to take the place of tha'physidan ao discharged. And in case the applicant for medical aid should find the 'officeof the superintendents of the poor closed, or should be ridable to find the phyalcian to whom his order Is directed, the supervisor of the respectivo district shall have power to give snch applicant an order to some other physician whose services, if found reasonable, shall be paid by the county, and the amount sopid shall be deducted from the aal-salary of the respective physician.The county supervisors and also the chairman of : of the town supervisors for tho. several towns for which no physician for the presen t shall be appointed f) this board, to-wit: the towns of; Lake, Oak Creek, Franklin and Greenfield, shall have power, in case of sickness In their respective district or town to give the applicant for medical aid an order, requesting some suitable physician to attend to the case, and such physician shall be paid for his services by the county board of iuperrisors, If his charge is found reasonablo and correct, and la case of necessity each county supervisor shall have power to giro an order on the physician of his district to applicants for medical aid.JOHN ROSEBECK, )IIU WEST, Com.HENRY LUEDERS, j
