Jerry Haynes, 48Jerry E. Haynes. 48. 1302 N. Cherry St.. died at 1:30p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993 at his home.Born Jan. 15, 1945 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Eligah and Pearl Goldie Haynes. He married Debbie Crawford March 8, 1968, and she survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as manager for the Rushville Salvation Army Thrift Store and was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the V.F.W., and the American Legion. He was active with the Boy Scouts.Surviving besides his wife are his mother: Pearl Williams: two sons: Jerry Haynes Jr. and Jerry Smith; two daughters: Angila Turner and Wendy Workman, all of Rushville; one brother: Max Sumpter, Indianapolis; four sisters: Jackie Wilson. Markleville. Lytha Brewer, Margie Quail, and Phylis Gregory, all of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
