There were several witnesses, the mother, a son-in-law and other members of the family.The party arrived back from the scene of the trouble last night and reported that the boy who was killed bad been in a scuffle with a ounger ‘ brother over a pencil. Finally Ira Bond, who was lying on a bed in another room called to them to stop their quarreling or he would whip them.
