He went iuto the Confederate 1 army during the late war as a member of the Shiiver Greys, o! Wheeling. He was promoted and made assistant Adjutant General of the Stonewall Hrigado. He was a worthy gentleman and a gallant soldier. He has crossed over the river and with his old commander isresting “tinder the shsde of the trees.—
