. The January 26 winners of the ‘Writers of the Week” contest at the elementary school are 4th grade Pit Stevens, Sth grade. Tom Hill, 6th grade. Dawn Treat. Attend Wedding Tony Lupkowski spent a few days in Florida attending the January 24th wedding of his nephew, Andre Lupkowski and Jeanmarie Cigalott in Fort Lauderdale. He was accom panied by his brother, Joseph Lup kowski of Lodi, NJ and his sister, Irene Barisonek of Lakehurst. Not While in Florida they visited their brothers. Henry Lupkowski of Holly wood, Florida and Edward Lupkow ski of Miramar, Florida Tri-Parish Supp... The annual Tri-Parish Water Sup per was held on Sunday, February 1 at St. Mary's Hall with over 225 peo ple attending. Special guests includ ed Rev. Francis Merkel represent ing St. Andrew's Parish, Blossburg Rev and Mrs. Norman Marden of the United Methodist Church. Bloss burg: and Mr. and Mrs Waller Plo minski. parents of Fr. Walt of Forty Fort, Pa. A welcome was give by Fr Walt Plominski, pastor of the Try Parishes, followed by carols and a poem by the youth of the parish Tony Lupkowski gave an explanation of the Wilia. All present joined in the singing of the Polish Caries, the Kolendy. Francis Boinski made the acknowledgements and Fr Merkel offered a prayer of Thanksgiving for the release of the hostages Benedic tion was given by Rev Marden Jack ie Banik presented a gift to Fr Walt Musicians accompanying the singing were: Prof Bernard Koleski and de Patt The children’s choir was under the direction of Jane Bugacz. The inclement weather did not interfer with the spirit of the occasion for any enjoyable time was had by all
